Nature: Nature is a popular trend that will continue throughout the year. The “go green movement”
has strongly inspired jewelry designs. Therefore use wood, freshwater pearls, silk, and natural gemstones
and materials in your designs.
Pendants: pendants have made a strong comeback this season. Having a large and strong focal point on
your piece will create a strong statement.
Metals: Mix and match metals. Use large metallic accents and/or focal points.
Bracelets: The bangle bracelet is a must have item for the fall. Add metallics and colorful gemstones to
your wrist. Layering bracelets will also be a popular style.
Cocktail Rings: rings are going to remain a popular item for the season. They can be worn for the day
time and night time. This is also a great way to use your left over beads. Check out our wire ring classes.
Necklaces: designs are made to be bold statement pieces. They are layered and full of gemstones
creating a dramatic look that can be worn dressed up or down. They can be vintage inspired or have a
more modern bold style.
Have fun either starting or continuing your jewelry making with these trends for Fall 2008!
